Kettlebell Press
From the rack position, press one kettlebell strictly overhead and lower it back to the chest. It trains the front and side delts and the triceps, and the one-sided load makes the core resist leaning. Choose it as a home overhead press or to even out the two sides.

How to do it
- Stand tall with feet hip-width and the kettlebell in the rack position, bell resting on the back of the forearm.
- Keep the wrist straight and the forearm vertical, elbow resting against the body.
- Brace the core and squeeze the glutes and the free fist.
- Press the bell up and slightly out until the elbow locks out over the shoulder.
- Finish with the biceps near the ear and the wrist stacked over the shoulder.
- Lower under control back to the rack position.
Watch for
- Leaning away from the bell to finish the press.
- Wrist bending back so the bell pulls the hand down.
- Forearm tilting so the bell isn't stacked over the elbow.
Breathing
Inhale and brace in the rack, exhale through the top of the press.
Tip
Press seated on the floor or a bench to take the legs out and keep the press strict.
