1. Information We Collect

SmartReps collects the following information to provide and improve our workout tracking app:

• Account Information: Email address, name and profile picture when you create an account
• Workout Data: Workout and exercise logs, sets, reps, weights, and workout history
• Health Integration Data: If you enable Apple Health or Health Connect, SmartReps reads weight data for workout tracking and bodyweight exercise calculations. You can choose to write body weight entries to your health app. On Android, SmartReps can also write completed exercise sessions and, when available, active calories and distance to Health Connect. You can revoke access in your device's health settings.
• Voice Workout Recordings: If you use voice workout logging, SmartReps uploads your recording to turn it into a workout entry. The temporary audio upload is deleted after processing.
• Usage Data: App usage patterns and preferences to improve user experience

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

3. Data Storage and Security

• • Your data is securely stored using industry-standard encryption
• • We use Convex for real-time data synchronization with built-in security features
• • Authentication is handled securely through Clerk

4. Data Sharing

We never sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers we need to run SmartReps, such as Convex for data storage, Clerk for authentication, and an AI service provider to process voice workout recordings. If you accept marketing cookies on our website, we also share your website activity with Meta so we can measure and target our advertising.

5. Cookies and Tracking on Our Website

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies:

• Necessary cookies: Required for the site to work. These are always active and store only your cookie choice.
• Analytics: We measure page views and how visitors move through the site so we can improve it. Only active if you accept.
• Meta Pixel: If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies and sends your activity on our site, such as page views and app store clicks, to Meta for advertising measurement and targeting.

We set no non-essential cookies before you accept them. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie settings link in the site footer.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• • Delete your account and all associated data
• • Export your workout data

7. Data Retention

We retain your workout data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your sign-in account immediately and delete associated SmartReps data in the background. Transaction records required by law may be retained for the required period.

8. Children's Privacy

SmartReps is not intended for children under 13, under 14 in Spain, under 15 in France and Denmark or under 16 in Germany. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email.
